Roof Shields

Roof Shields

Roof Shields for Future-Ready Electrical Enclosures — Future-Ready Protection from Rain, Sun & Environmental Stress.

We offer a high-quality range of roof shields engineered for both steel and stainless-steel electrical enclosures. Suitable for retrofitting flat-roof enclosures or integrating into new installations where a sloping roof is not practical, roof shields provide long-term protection against rain, UV exposure, and thermal stress. By adding a roof shield, operators gain an extra layer of resilience that keeps enclosures future-ready for evolving environmental and compliance demands.

Why Roof Shields Matter:

Roof shields help prevent the accumulation of water, corrosive agents, dust, minerals, and debris on enclosure surfaces which are common factors that accelerate coating breakdown, corrosion, and material fatigue. In addition, by reducing direct solar load, roof shields minimize internal temperature rise, to protect sensitive electrical components and reduce the risk of thermal-related failures.

Engineered to Standards & Built to Last:

Every roof shield is designed to complement our range of electrical enclosures that meet IEC/EN 60529 ingress protection ratings (IP55/IP66). Manufactured from powder-coated galvanized steel and grade 316L stainless steel.

Simple, Safe Installation:

Electrical enclosures are pre-fitted with encapsulated nutserts, allowing roof shields to be mounted securely without drilling, preserving structural integrity and ingress protection. Supplied complete with fasteners for new and existing enclosures.

Steel Enclosures

Steel Enclosures

Steel electrical enclosures are designed to provide reliable protection for low voltage electrical equipment, including switchgear and control gear assemblies. Designed for demanding environments, our enclosures combine durability, compliance, and advanced features, making them the preferred choice for engineers and organizations worldwide. Manufactured in advanced facilities, each enclosure is built with precision and consistent quality. The steel enclosure range is manufactured from galvanized steel and finished with a premium powder-coated surface, offering superior corrosion resistance, UV protection, and long-term durability. This makes our enclosures ideal for indoor and outdoor applications where performance cannot be compromised. IP66 Electrical Enclosures — Steel electrical enclosures are suitable for general industrial applications.

Stainless Steel Enclosures

Stainless Steel Enclosures

Stainless steel electrical enclosures are engineered to provide robust protection for electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment in harsh, corrosive, and extreme environments. They are ideal for demanding applications such as mining, infrastructure, marine, and industrial processing where exposure to moisture, chemicals, or mechanical impact is common. Constructed from 304L and 316L stainless steel, these enclosures offer excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-rich and coastal environments where long-term durability is critical. Designed and tested in accordance with IEC/EN 62208 and IEC/EN/AS 60529, they provide up to IP66 ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance. Independent certification by accredited laboratories ensures compliance, performance, and reliability. IP66 Stainless Steel Electrical Enclosures — wall-mounted, single-door construction for extreme duty applications. Available in grade 316L and grade 304L stainless steel.

Aluminium Enclosures

Aluminium Enclosures

Aluminum electrical enclosures are specifically engineered to protect low voltage equipment, including switchgear and control gear assemblies, in highly corrosive environments such as marine and coastal locations. These enclosures offer an ideal balance of strength, lightweight construction, and exceptional resistance to corrosion. Electrical enclosures deployed in coastal and marine environments are exposed to salt spray, high humidity, strong UV and fluctuating temperatures. These conditions accelerate corrosion and structural wear, making material selection critical. Enclosures utilize marine grade aluminum, a structural alloy engineered for strength and durability in aggressive environments. Marine grade aluminum offers superior resistance to seawater and atmospheric corrosion. Its natural oxide layer provides long-term protection against chloride attack, while the specific temper delivers an optimal balance of mechanical strength and ductility. This allows enclosures to withstand impact, vibration and mechanical load without brittleness, ensuring reliable performance in exposed outdoor locations. IP66 Aluminum Electrical Enclosures — fabricated from marine grade aluminium and rated for protection up to IP66. Suitable for heavy duty applications.
