We offer a high-quality range of roof shields engineered for both steel and stainless-steel electrical enclosures. Suitable for retrofitting flat-roof enclosures or integrating into new installations where a sloping roof is not practical, roof shields provide long-term protection against rain, UV exposure, and thermal stress. By adding a roof shield, operators gain an extra layer of resilience that keeps enclosures future-ready for evolving environmental and compliance demands.
Why Roof Shields Matter: Roof shields help prevent the accumulation of water, corrosive agents, dust, minerals, and debris on enclosure surfaces which are common factors that accelerate coating breakdown, corrosion, and material fatigue. In addition, by reducing direct solar load, roof shields minimize internal temperature rise, to protect sensitive electrical components and reduce the risk of thermal-related failures.
Engineered to Standards & Built to Last: Every roof shield is designed to complement our range of electrical enclosures that meet IEC/EN 60529 ingress protection ratings (IP55/IP66). Manufactured from powder-coated galvanized steel and grade 316L stainless steel.
Simple, Safe Installation: Electrical enclosures are pre-fitted with encapsulated nutserts, allowing roof shields to be mounted securely without drilling, preserving structural integrity and ingress protection. Supplied complete with fasteners for new and existing enclosures.
Ventilated Roof
We provide a range of ventilated roofs for steel and aluminium electrical enclosures. Ventilated Roofs are designed to suit standard wall-mounted electrical enclosures and enable ventilation devices to be fitted into the roof of an enclosure. They are provided with louvre vents around the perimeter to assist with ventilation while maintaining IP protection.
Ventilated Roofs – Powder Coated Steel: fabricated using galvanized steel sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80–120-micron average thickness. Incorporate encapsulated nutserts. An EPDM gasket and fasteners are included.
Ventilated Roofs – Marine Grade Aluminium: fabricated using marine grade aluminium sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80–120-micron average thickness. Colored aluminium ventilated roofs including T33 Smoke Blue are also available. Incorporate encapsulated nutserts. An EPDM gasket and fasteners are included.
Solar Panel Brackets
We provide a range of solar panel brackets for electrical enclosures. Solar panel brackets are designed to fit existing encapsulated nutserts that are provided on standard electrical enclosures to enable ease of fitting without drilling. The angle of the solar panel can be adjusted to allow for optimum solar panel performance.
Powder-Coated Steel: fabricated using galvanized steel sheet, powder-coated with a textured finish 80–120-micron average thickness. Standard color RAL7035; other colors on request.
DIN Rail Kits
DIN Rail Kits are designed to be easily fitted to steel and stainless-steel electrical enclosures without drilling. The separate internal chassis frame can be fitted with components and wired prior to assembly into the enclosure. The removable escutcheon plates provide protection to the full perimeter of the enclosure.
Stainless Steel 19″ Data Rack Rail Set
Easily convert a standard wall mounted electrical enclosure into an IP66 19″ Data Rack using this 19″ Data Rack Kit.
Standard wall mounted electrical enclosures are provided with mounting points to accommodate these 19″ Data Rack Kits without the need for drilling. Simply fit and tighten four nuts. These kits are designed to fit 600mm wide wall mounted electrical enclosures.
If used in conjunction with wall mounted electrical enclosures, grade 316/316L stainless steel IP66 19″ data rack enclosures are designed for extreme duty to house sensitive data network equipment in harsh environments. They are suitable for internal and external installations. Use this kit with a 600mm wide, 800mm high enclosure.
Wiring Plan Pockets
We provide wiring plan pockets for electrical enclosures. Wiring plan pockets and document storage pockets can be provided to fasten to the inside lower half of each access door to provide space for the storage of site documentation. Wiring plan pockets are sized to shroud unfolded, laminated A4 sized drawings and documents. A4 wiring plan pockets and document storage pockets are in stock for immediate delivery. A3 wiring plan pockets and document storage pockets are made-to-order as part of custom enclosures.
Part Number IP-PCPPA4 – A4 Wiring Plan Pocket – Polycarbonate. Plastic wiring plan pockets are 25mm deep and are provided with high-quality self-adhesive foam tape to fasten to the inside of an electrical enclosure or electrical cabinet.
Electrical Enclosure Shelf Kits
We provide a range of adjustable electrical enclosure component shelf kits. Shelf systems have many uses and can be used for component storage, separation and battery storage. Fixed shelves are pressed to provide strength and are provided with vertical rails and fasteners for ease of installation. Multiple shelves can be fitted into each cabinet, and shelves can be fully adjusted to the correct positions.
Gland Plates
We provide a range of electrical enclosure gland plates. These gland plates are designed to replace existing standard gland plates with gland plates with cutouts to suit Icotek cable entry systems, brass gland plates or aluminium gland plates to meet specification requirements. They are available in various thicknesses including 3mm and 5mm. Simply remove the standard gland plate and replace it with the optional brass or aluminium gland plate. Gland plates are provided with a polyurethane seal, similar to standard gland plates, to ensure integrity of the electrical enclosure IP rating is maintained.
